About Us

Kate Moncrieff is a new venture combining the talents and experience of mother and daughter Jean Scott-Moncrieff and Kate Wheeler.

Jean has been making jewellery for over twenty years and has many private clients. She has received a commendation for Fine Jewellery at the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Awards and has exhibited at Goldsmiths' Fair since 2003. She is a regular exhibitor at Dazzle and the Glyndebourne Opera gallery and has shown new work at the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh in 2008.

Kate graduated from Camberwell College of Art with a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Metalwork in 1999, then worked with a leading jeweller in Brighton making commissions in gold, silver and platinum. During her time there Kate also learnt new techniques at the London Metropolitan University in the Sir John Cass department.
